Craze Shoes: A Journey in Every Step
Craze Shoes is the result of one woman’s dream turned into a reality, born out of Cristy’s passion for Tieks ballet shoes. She then realized that a similar kind of soft-soled footwear didn’t exist in the Philippines, she saw an opportunity to create shoes that blended comfort, affordability, and style. This vision led her to design her first pair, but the journey was far from smooth.

STEPPING INTO THE UNKNOWN

In the beginning, Cristy struggled to find a reliable supplier in Marikina. Her first attempt led to a disappointing encounter with a scam. Determined not to give up, she eventually found a second supplier, but they couldn’t meet the growing production demands. This challenge became the catalyst for a new venture: building their own manufacturing facility in Pampanga. Here, they focused on creating soft-soled shoes that were designed specifically for Filipinos, offering a comfortable yet budget-friendly alternative to high-priced options.

FAMILY, RESILIENCE, AND GROWTH

The pandemic forced Craze Shoes to close for a year, but this difficult time transformed the business into a family endeavor. Cristy’s father became the main shoemaker, while her brother, an architect and engineer, took on the role of chief designer. Together, they reshaped the brand, weaving their skills and dedication into every pair of shoes. Now, after seven years, Craze Shoes stands as a testament to their perseverance and creativity. With a commitment to comfort and quality, they continue to provide Filipinos with stylish shoes that don’t break the bank—because every step should feel as good as it looks.
